Biography

Born in 1980 in France, of a bulgarian father and a swiss mother, Sofia Leconte Mitev paints since her childhood.
At 17 years old, she is already winner of 8 regional contests of painting and has exhibit in more than fifteen spaces.
In 2001, she is graduate of the Lyon National School of Arts.
From 2001 to 2004, her paintings appear in about fifteen movies, as "Les poupées russes", "Tu vas rire mais je te quitte", "De battre mon coeur s'est arrêté", or "Tu vas rire mais je te quitte".
In 2008, she is the first woman chosen to publish an artist book part of a collection which presents among others artworks Miro, Adami, Segui, Les Lalanne, Alechinsky...
