Books of high quality

Editions R.L.D. publish art books which are manually typeset and illustrated with original lithographs. The pleasure of meetings between authors and artists.

"En Puisaye": devoted to artists from the studio, it appears twice per year, usually in connection with exhibitions organised at La Métairie.
"Notes & écrits" revisits works originally published for collectors. The typeset text is accompanied by lithographs specially created for the book.

500 issues of Number 20 by Sofia Leconte-Mitev will be printed, with 5 original tooled lithographs. 100 copies of a special version will include a numbered and signed original etching.

At the Dutrous’, everything is set by hand, from the text to the engravings.

Lithography, printing using stone.

The lithography technique allows longer print runs, at higher speeds, than printing engravings. The process uses a damp block of limestone on which the work is drawn in fat. Inking is done with an oily ink which only sticks to the fatty parts of the stone.


From the “horned beast” to the two Voirins from the end of the 19^th century, all the machines still work perfectly.
